I was part of the May lay offs. Now I’m rehiring loop; however the recruiter said they can’t up the salary - has to be same as last drawn at Meta. Any re hires here who can throw light on this? Is this true only for base / bonus? Or also for stocks & joining bonus? Thanks!

Salary is non negotiable if within a year. It’ll be exactly what it was when you left. You do get a new rsu package, old rsu/refreshers don’t carry over.

What the people left over a year ago? I heard they still have fixed tc for them unlike regular hires
