dude ALL of LinkedIn (ALL of social media for that matter) has become a medium for shameless self-promotion. These sh*tty posts you’re mentioning are a tiny subset of the mountain of sh*t out there.
There are teams at Amazon who are required to write blogs(AWS Solution Architects) to make up for lost utilization. I thought they must be great to find time to constantly churn out those blog posts and share on LinkedIn, but found out those are the ones who couldn’t find a billable customer and writing those to make up for alternate utilization else they will be PiPed
is that how they measure impact nowadays?

The real value of working at Meta is to become ex-meta and sell various blogs, courses and other garbage to leetcode suckers.
I keep seeing posts from one particular guy who got promoted fast. The secret is that he switched to managed as soon as he could so he never had to maintain staff engineer expectations and can instead spew that promotional crap on his reports
