Meta survives solely due to buying out competition
It’s obvious they have no actual talent. Too much leetcoders too little real engineers. Take an entire day to resolve outages. The moment competition comes along that they cannot buy they are being crushed. Kinda sad.

I honestly don’t see metas future. You guys better have some top secret projects nobody knows about. It’s definitely not metaverse You haven’t innovated in years Your competition is getting much stronger Metaverse seems like a very desperate play Your products rely on other products too much for revenue (App Store revenue, etc) Big tech seems to be ganging up on you (Apple, nvidia, Google) The majority of people believe your products have a net negative impact on society. It’s interesting to see how it plays out. Lots of big tech bullying meta right now. Can they fight back or will they crumble I never applied to meta, and I even know of a few people going there for better comp, but these are just my takes. I disagree with op, they definitely have talent. But I don’t really understand what their vision or future is
