My 2cents, if you have tenure and domain expertise you are probably less likely to get laid off If you have poor previous rating or aren't liked by leadership I'd GTFO I can see both companies continuing to layoff or pip aggressively for the next year

None.. I don’t think tenure or experience is going to help you here. Amazon cut will be around 3-6% whether it’s lay off or pip. Meta cut would be 0-25% depending on what zuck feels. You pick what you prefer!
