Meta- GE return offer ($280k y1 / $205k recurring) Other two tbd, will negotiate with Meta offer. Assuming I can get pretty close with both, maybe match. Interested in learning as much as possible and resume value/prestige. I'd love to hear why you answered what you did. From the research I've done it seems like Palantir is pretty moral, so I'd appreciate if that's kept out of the discussion too. #meta #snowflake #palantir
lol all retail traders out here suggesting PLTR
it’s not because its stock was a meme stock. it’s because palantir is actually elite as fuck
elite lmfao
Snowflake or Palantir Meta might not be a good a place to learn because of shitty internal tools which might have abstracted lot of things which you might want to learn to build a solid foundation I think other companies can match meta offer so go with other which have similar TC + good WLB and most importantly no hunger games because people will throw you under the bus for their own survival
Snowflake
(Meta)Mate there's a poll, could you explain your reasoning?
Would depend on team + project but Meta would have better brand name
Is palantir SDE or FDSE?
Important q
SDE
Snowflake is definitely the ‘coolest’ of the three imo. Their stock isn’t very stable so that’s something to keep in mind. But personally I still lean snowflake because I think their product and culture is great.
Meta. You've already proven yourself and know what it's like to work there. You'd therefore have a leg up in career trajectory over the other 2. Resume with Meta stands out more too.
Anecdotally I’ve seen better exit opportunities at Palantir. The amount of people I’ve worked with that now run a YC-backed startup is insane, and I think a lot of that is a byproduct of our working environment given the autonomy people have here. I think Meta definitely caries more weight for people who aren’t as much in the know (which could be some recruiters).
Palantir was seen as pretty elite when I was coming out of MIT around 2018. But it was smaller back then. i think all of tech has lost some luster since.
Snowflake probably has the brightest future imo
In a similar boat(Meta and Palantir). Were you able to negotiate with either of them? My recruiter at Meta said that the return offer is non-negotiable. Yet to go through with Palantir
That’s not true usually Meta signing bonus is def negotiable in the past… but who knows about the current environment
It’s been non-negotiable for returning interns since last year

Peaceful Protest Hasn’t Worked and Has Been Met With Aggression.
You’ll may never be lucky enough to enter palantir again
Explain?
Palantir was cool before 2018. It's a shitshow now
