Thinking to buy some. Which one has more upside in long run? TC:300K #twilio #meta #investments
Save your money and put it in a 5% CD or bank account
I work for Twilio and I won’t dare to buy it now
Segment is one of the best products out there. Meta is dead nobody cares about the Metaverse
Because you work for segment lol. In all seriousness it’s a good product, but our focus should be to make sure it’s still at or ahead of the competition rather than focusing on building engage which currently has no future. Hightouch I’ve heard is taking customers away.
I actually don't work for Segment, but the latest demo with AI integrated was impressive.
^ I think the above twilio posts should tell you all you need to know. You have two, assuming they haven’t left the company, employees with polar opposite views of twilio. I’m assuming the same is true of meta. Perspective. Trust your own research and live with the results! I know this is a form of research, I guess I’m saying treat the responses with a grain of salt. Also, twilio is reporting earnings today, so GLTA that are invested!
Polar opposite are those who work primarily in engage, and to some extent segment and flex who had the ability to backfill and add new employees at the expense of other units, even the profitable units. While meta doesn’t look attractive, Zuck at least backed away from the metaverse. Our ceo is tone deaf on the other hand.
I work in Communications and I’m happy, just as a data point, but even regardless my point still stands. It’s all perspective
Glad to hear you are happy in comms. Heard it’s all thunder and dark clouds there so happy to hear others feel otherwise.

Pray for folks at Tesla
Why twilio? Not familiar with their finances
Yeah why Twillio, unprofitable company with a low margin non software product.
Segment is software.
