Thing is Leetcode is only used in big tech. Other small startups or mid size or east coast fintech dont ask leetcode. They ask general Java/C# and UI question or code.

Sorry, but what about FAANG people make them so good anyways? Don't be discouraged by them being your competition. I've worked for multiple companies like Microsoft, Meta, ect and I can tell you there's nothing special about us.

Yes I if I get laid off from MS, Im definitely not going to try FAANG or any new startup looking for leetcoding. Its either contract jobs with very high hourly rate, or a decent company where I can have peaceful life with good pay.
