Reddit Staff ML Offer Eval
Base: $270k RSUs: $300k Year 1 only! No bonus Offer is very confusing to me as the RSUs are for 1st year only. The recruiter says that I will get equivalent amount of RSUs for Year 2 depending on my performance. Can someone please shed some light on refreshers for Reddit Staff level? What is the vesting schedule of refreshers? What all I should try to negotiate? Other offers that I have seen give RSUs vesting over longer period. #offer #compensation #rsu #equity #tech

Reddit is doing 1 year grants and refreshers now like stripe. We haven’t had a refresher cycle yet under the new system so hard to say what the ranges will be like
Do refreshers vest yearly as well in the new system? What is the current vesting cycle for refreshers?

Take it and run.... I wouldn't even counter. That's the best vest schedule I've ever seen.

Probably because they're gon ipo soon, and no one knows where their stock will land. I think it's a pretty solid offer overall. If it's more than 20% your current comp you should consider it and if more than 40% you should just take it.
