Is there a way to use another portfolio management company other than fidelity for 401K and keep the matched contribution. Or at least be able to customize stocks in the portfolio?
Who told you there’s a limitation on what you can invest in?

Can’t use other provider, but fidelity has brokerage link, which is essentially a brokerage account within your 401k. You can invest in whatever you want there
This seems to be closest solution, I set up a 1 to 1 with fidelity to discuss opening such an account, thanks!
What more do you want? It lets you invest in any asset available in regular brokerages lol
