I recently had an onsite interview with Microsoft completed all the rounds. The Action Center status shows scheduled post 2 weeks after the interview. However, when I checked the Action Center today, I saw that the contact person (recruiter) had been changed. What could this change in the contact person indicate? I am getting an automated response from my recruiter that she is on vacation. Is there any hope for me.
They were likely laid off and getting reassigned to another recruiter
Yeah, I heard there is a layoff last week.
I had at least 3 different recruiters during my process
Can you share why it happens to be three and what causes it? Just curious.
This was years ago, but I assume most of them rotated contracts or handed it off as part of their process. Microsoft likes to use contracted recruiters
Good luck dude. I applied back in February time frame and I'm still on "scheduled" status. Every now and then the recruiter updates me with an email that says something along the lines of "Sorry, there are still delays. I should have an update in X weeks."
oh … when did you complete your interview.
February. If the recruiter didn't email me every couple of weeks I'd have assumed I was rejected.
@op Did you hear back?

You haven't received a rejection so there is still hope. Microsoft moves slowly, especially in this economy
