I am waiting for the numbers on an L65 offer (should be getting them this week). I have 11+ years of overall experience (currently L6 at Amazon, L7 did not happen this Q and I'm tired of the mental gymnastics required to push it through). I was wondering if I could push for L66 ? I have an offer from PayPal for a fully remote Sr. Engineering Manager as well (400K) If it's possible, any recommendations on the negotiation strategy? Appreciate the help TC : 470K
65 cant beat your current tc. Most l65 make 300k. Lol
How long did the process take since you applied? I’ve been interviewing as well but not at MSFT. Mind if I DM? Can compare notes.
Yeah sure.
Only l6 at Amazon so might be hard for l66, but possible.
How many years as L6 ? Could try for 66
4.5 years as L6
all 4.5 yrs as manager ?
Appreciate the inputs. Let's see what happens this week
Hi OP, How are the technical interview rounds at Msft and Paypal? Was it too technical? Any coring rounds?

65 is not that senior I know 5 yoes who have gotten it
Yeah, that's what I've been reading about. There are people with 6-7 YOE who are at L65.
Huh? Not sure which org has L65 w/ 6-7 YoE b/c if someone interned & got hired at 59 then they would literally have to get promoted every year which is a Black Swan event at MSFT.
