Microsoft Full loop response time
Had a full loop in Microsoft O365 org on Friday. Interviews went well and I completed all the required number of rounds. Curious to know, when can I expect a response? I read in some blogs that some folks get response the same night or next day. I haven’t heard anything yet, 1 business day (Monday) has passed.
I completed my full round of onsite interviews + hack presentation at Facebook. Everyone, including FB recruiters on Blind tell me it takes a week or two. Only very select, uncommon circumstances have people heard back within a couple of business days. Good luck!
Yes, fb and google have hiring committees.. Microsoft interviews structure is a bit diff IMO. You are by default given 3 rounds and depending on your perf, you go to 4th and 5th rounds.. so the decision making process is fairly instant if I am not wrong.
I personally went through the 5th final round and then did the 3-day proof of concept project— which I had to present in front of the hiring team on my 2nd onsite. My friends and family said I wouldn’t have made it that far if I wasn’t being seriously considered, so I just need to be patient and trust the system. Recruiter said I should have a final decision by the end of this week 🤞🏻
Is it rude to check with recruiter 2 days after the interview?

I got an email to set up a call to discuss next steps. The recruiter didnt say anything about the result. I am hoping that means it is a positive news..
What's the update?
Typically by next day the debrief happens. If the as appropriate is busy or not available decision can get delayed - so just hold on , it can still be good news
