Microsoft HR no response for a week after asking for preferred start date ! 🥺
So early last week MSFT HR asked me and my hiring manager for a start date which we provided the HR within a few hours. The HR has gone silent on me since then ... Should I be worried ? What’s the usual timeline here ? .... I followed up on the thread with the HM on it ... but no response from anyone ... TC - 175k
I wouldn't worry, recruiters are people too, with overfull inboxes and personal issues. You should send a follow up mail and make sure to cc others on it

If the HM has not responded the hold up is probably on the HM’s end, not recruitment.
