I've been scheduled for the new "Hiring Squad" process for some Senior Product Manager roles (L64/65). Can anyone give me any insight into what to expect? I understand I'll be meeting with 3 different hiring managers in consideration for different roles, but I have no view into how the interviews will go. Are these generalized interviews (pipeline) that follow typical scenarios -- behavioral, technical, culture, etc.? From my scheduling email: "You’ll be meeting with our Hiring Squad. A Hiring Squad is an exciting, new process for Microsoft. You’ll have the opportunity to meet and be evaluated for roles across our various business groups. This is good news for you because we have streamlined our process and are scheduling all of your interviews on the same day, and the hiring squad will present their hiring recommendations across all of our businesses to find the best match for you here at Microsoft!" Thank you in advance for help on what types of questions/scenarios are given in this kind of interview... TC: 225 YOE: 16 #microsoft #microsoftinterview
hope OP is good at red light green light lol
Hey, I was suspicious of that from the beginning!
My friend met with them and hasn’t heard in about 2 months
Like squid game squad?
LOL! I sure hope not -- that series was brutal! At T-Mobile we rolled out a new pipeline hiring process -- I'm actually on the interview committee. We have 2 interviews for product manager roles, one for behavioral and another for technical. They're done by 2 people in each interview and follow the same process/grading scale for each candidate. I have a set schedule with 2 interviews every week. Folks are put through the pipeline and their results go to a hiring committee to see if they met the bar (and if so, how high/low) and to also see where they might be the best fit. They then offer the candidates to HMs for a final interview. I have a feeling this is something similar, I just would love to know what the interviews are going to be like...
