Microsoft Interview Invite Strategy

I have tried the following so far: 1. Sending resumes to Hiring Managers on LinkedIn, based on their post. Some were not a fit and some HMs just never replied back after sending them a resume. 2. Connected with peers who are happy to refer me for roles im interested in at Microsoft. Had 2 referrals so far, havent heard back. 3. Cold called recruiters on LinkedIn, only 2 accepted my invitation so far. Nothing beyond that. what would be a good strategy to get the first interview invite? targeting non-tech roles, MBA level

Ask your friend at Microsoft to look up the HM and directly email them a referral. The internal referral system is sometimes a blackhole

The problem with this is that they are not comfortable with reaching out to HM - because they dont know them personally :(

That’s unfortunate to hear. If I believe in a person’s ability to succeed in the role, I recommend them. The worst that happens is the HM doesn’t reach back.

Thank you for your kind words. I hope something clicks soon and all the effort pays off!
