Don't go to Deloitte.. consulting sucks
Deloitte suxks Consulting is what you make of it
Microsoft hands down You have a very competitive offer for L60
Just go with Microsoft.
Run from Deloitte, Ex Deloitte sp. master. Work life balance is non existent there.
I'd disagree considering OP has an offer in GPS
Microsoft, but you need to get the base increased for that location. Do not take the Deloitte offer; it isn’t lucrative financially or for career growth.
Consulting does not suck in my opinion but everything I hear about GPS sucks. If you had said MS or Deloitte Commercial I would have said Deloitte 100%. In this case, MS. (Ex-deloitte here)
Coming from a current Deloitte employee, take the Microsoft offer. I have friends that have been there their entire careers. Deloitte’s work/life balance isn’t the best. The only way you survive Deloitte is if you are friends with people in high places. It will take you another 3-5 years to make manager at Deloitte, and pay might increase to 150k with triple the work. Good luck!
I’m L60 at Microsoft and my base is $126k, you have some wiggle room, esp if you have a compete
Sounds like humble brag lol

Why is it so G*damn difficult to move money out of India
Microsoft sounds like a no-brainer.
Why so. Career progression seems low at Microsoft. L60 to 63 will take about 5 years if not more. SC to manager at Deloitte will take 3yrs. Also cost of living. I want Microsoft but the career progression concerns me.
That's fair, though I don't know enough about Deloitte to comment. But career growth doesn't have to be linear. Consider X years at Microsoft followed by jump to FAANGMULA. Or another Y years at a different product team in Microsoft, to broaden your skillset.
