Hi everyone, been at MS Redmond for about 4 years, been L64 for about a year. I'm consistently in top percentiles for rewards and told I'm on track for L65. I came from a Game Dev background now working in AI and have a unique highly sought-after skill set. My "problem" is I'm not an engineer (FYI not a designer either) so it's harder to gauge where I'm at on the pay scale. My base is $165k with the standard 30% cash/stock rewards. is this good/bad for a high performer? Anyone now the Max base for L64? I mainly want to make sure I'm on parity with engineers at the same level.
How much bonus and stock do you get annually? Base is not enough to determine if your are being underpaid
Cash was $36k, Stock $32k
Hcol, my base was $165k before I was promoted to 64. Also $36k cash bonus is ~70% rewards...right?
I know for engineers that max base can get to 200k. Your cash bonus seems to be around 22%, do you know if this is common amongst your peers? It certainly seems high as I was told the range is 0-30% but ppl usually get around 15%.
Your base pay is in range. You can askHr for comp ratio and they’ll tell you.
Thanks! I'll definitely do that.
