Microsoft Non-Tech MBA Comp
I will be graduating from an M7 MBA program next year and am interested in learning about the comp for non-tech roles at Microsoft, primarily product manager and biz dev roles. I have 5 YOE split between Amazon and Target in various business roles. #microsoftsalary
@uPEI62 do you have a tech specialization in your MBA program? I would think that even if you are interested in non-tech roles, tech companies would require some technical knowledge of their product.
I dont think they care about M3, M4 or M5 tbh. Most MBAs get similar pay packages for similar job because the bar is lower than industry hire. If u can’t get a worthy competing offer, i dont think you have a chance at negotiating. PM mba roles at amazon are $130-145 base

100-110K base
That seems quite low - my base prior to the MBA was 107K so if that range is correct, hopefully I’d be able to negotiate higher
You won't have leverage without competing offers. MBA salaries tend to be standard tho for big tech companies
