I want to understand the differences in job responsibilities and total annual compensation of L63 and L64 PMs in Microsoft. What level should I target if I want to switch from 2 yrs of Amazon L6 PMT experience? Current TC 210K YoE 6 years
L63 is what a L6 with couple years under the belt would likely translate. But quite frankly depends how well you sell yourself. In theory not much difference in responsibility between L63 and 64 if you're not in a rush. If you plan to be promoted quickly then will be hard to get from L64 to L65 with less than 2.5 years in the level and you need to select well your projects.

PM role itself should be eliminated. All EMs should take up that responsibility.
