Microsoft Promotion Amidst Covid19
I am expecting a promotion to SDE2 at Microsoft this September. My manager had subtly hinted that he would be making a case but had not committed yet. Now with the Covid19 situation and Microsoft going into a hiring freeze from April, do you think I should talk to my manager about the promotion? Also, do you guys think rewards would be affected ? #career #tech #promotion Current TC: 180k

Are they gonna freeze all hiring from April? Any idea when they open again?
