Microsoft Windows Devices Group VS eBay payments org. Need reviews for new grad software engineer role.

Difference of around 15k in total comp. Microsoft being higher
What are the locations? Seattle has high CoL opposed to most of the US which would make up for the extra $15k to be in Seattle. However, if eBay is in SF then it's realistically more like a $45k difference in Microsoft's favor.

IMO stay the fuck away from payment roles unless your passionate about writing software to manage and audit state and federal compliance.

What’s the salary and position at both companies ?
Windows devices? You have to be very clear what is the role and whether you will like it. By default pick higher salary and ask both yo match the other increase.
It’s Microsoft. WDG is a dead org but for a new grad it’s can be a great place to learn if u are in a core team. Also, in msft u can switch to other orgs like Azure, sql, Xbox or whatever. Ur choice within eBay may not be that great.
