+25% for stock range lvl 67 and below. Thoughts? Edit: removed “double merit”. They only doubled the global budget, not the individual range.

Feeling bad now that I didn’t switch Job to a FAANG or similar.
Me too 😛
Did you already move? Me too btw 🤣
Trying to become a faang
FAANG itself is not FAANG anymore 😐
Sorry, if you notice Satya does not want MS to be Faang. It's happy and great being unique from Faang. Which other company other then Microsoft and Apple has survived all economic conditions???
So... More rewards for level 67's and i get.... Potentially $1k more in stocks.
Yeah, an extra 1k that vests in 5 years 🤦🏾♂️
better than nothing. if MSFT in 5 years 10x, you hitting jackpot!
What is merit ranges?
If you were supposed to get 10, this year you'd get 20
The range for merit increases. I think they are 0 to 6 percent normally, without promotion. This seems to indicate they will be doubling the range, so 0 to 12 percent.
0% doubled is still 0 right? ;)
No it’s 00% dummy

Who told you this @OP? I don't see it anywhere.

I guess the base will be affected
Good start to compensate/care but no, still no where close to FAANG
move to the subsidiaries if you want faang
yah this is still insanely low. FAANG gives out $150k+ annual refreshers for average perf scores lmao
Double merit is good, %25+ stock for anything under 65 still 🥜
You read it wrong. It's double increase in budget. Not that you'd get double merit. Now it's in Manager's hand to give out.
Msoft took the axe and put it in Manager's hand.
Elaborate?
Sounds like still Performance based, meaning there is no increase to the base salary due to inflation etc. but rather merit will be double and stock award will increase by 25%, both are based on how your manager ranks you based on impact /performance. But not sure if annual cash bonuses will increase??? Which it the bigger piece of the annual awards. Microsoft will always be a performance based compensation company for sure…
Scott said that there WILL be adjustments to base salary in the all hands
