Its been a week and half since I got verbal acceptance from Microsoft. I have not received written offer yet, the only thing recruiter said is that my expectations are very high wrt $$. Do I need to be worried? I would atleast like to see what is the best offer they can give.
They gave verbal acceptance and asked me for my current salary and expected salary.. after that the only thing recruiter said is he is still working on it and my expectation is a high number. So essentially i have not got any numbers from them yet.
Do you mind sharing what role/area, and what your expected base/stock/bonus/tc was vs what they offered you for each? I'm trying to prep for a similar negotiation at MS.
Sde2.. i didnt give them expectations in terms of breakdown. I just gave them expected Total Comp .. i want them to figure out the breakdown after which negotiation can start.. it sucks that it is taking them forever to give even first set of numbers.. make me worried a bit though..
Oh that's an interesting approach - what did you request for TC? They will probably get back to you Monday, and it may help for you to have some materials prepped to help you push back. Like avg comp for similar roles in the area and reasons you think you fall in *X* range relative to that average.
Did you get your offer yet? I just got mine for L60. We could compare
Can you text me in private? I have something to share yojfor offer
Did they get back to you
