In the final round of interview with Microsoft finance/corporate treasure team. Anyone has any idea about their work life balance? Currently in chase where the wlb is superb, but this is the reason they pay peanuts....#corpfinance #fpa
In most cases orgs have great WLB, with the exception of Azure
For Finance, the pay / TC is pretty good, compared to what Chase pays you, but somewhat lower than SWEs. But I would wager it's a pretty good salary compared to most other finance jobs. You could be making anywhere from $130K at least to $250K at relatively senior levels, and more if you are director and above. WLB is honestly a hit or miss, depends completely on the team that you land in. One Finance team I know that works on quarterly earnings works 60-80 hours for about one to two weeks every quarter, but they do get days off to recuperate outside of their paid vacation, and the rest of their working weeks are normal. But other teams have better WLB and consistent work weeks without any crunch times. So it really depends on which finance team you land in.
Hi Microsoft, can I DM you about your company? Want to learn more if that’s okay with you
What’s the comp for MSFT Sr. finance manager roles? Comparable to L6 Amazon finance?
Similar comp bands. If you have directs or people manager experience, look for group fM roles
How 🥜 is the comp jw
