Top of the line offer for L62. You can try for $140k or $150K RSU if you have competing offers. Base looks maxed out.
Offer is good, likely close to top of what you can get unless you have very strong external offers. If you manage to get offers from other top HW/FAANG then you could likely get up to 160k/225k/60k at max, but still very good offer already. Also FYI getting the full 20% bonus is very, very difficult in HW at msft. Expect 10% lower bound and if you're a rock star then 18%. If you do very well more likely you get a promo rather than 200% of target.
What was the interview like? Please share your experience.
Lots of behavioural questions. Technical questions were drawn from my experience. Lot of emphasis on how I solved problems at work and my thought process
How long did it take for you to get feedback after interview
1 day
Offer looks good. You ask for upto 150k RSUs. Base n sign on seem to be maxed out
Profile ?
Hardware reliability
Do you know if msft does your GreenCard processing on day 1?
They do
Thanks your inputs so far! What is the scene of yearly stock grants (refreshers) for L62 ? From other posts on blind, it seems to be target of 11k (max 22k) vested over 5 years? Are optional special stock awards the only thing to prevent hitting the cliff after 4 years ? What is the typical timeline for promo from L62 to L63? Of course this will be perfomance/team based but any ballpark estimate would be great to know. Thanks !
You can always jump the shimp at the end of year 3 or 4
Solid.
Man that’s a really sweet offer for Redmond! Didn’t know MSFT paid this much
