Microsoft interview day - not ready yet
I got an email from a Microsoft recruiter about a nov 22 interview day. I am keen on moving but dont feel ready for a potential onsite yet. I have cleared a couple of mid tier financial org interviews recently but I am not at the level of Amz, MS in terms of leetcoding. I think I can do ok in the online test but definitely not the onsite. I dont want to blow it and then wait for cool off. Please use the poll and help me decide. Thank you. Current tc: 118k, yoe: 4

How much LC have you done?
47 - 35 easy, 10 medium, 2 hard
If you haven’t done much algos outside LC, definitely not ready yet. Unless you got super lucky. With that many Easy, you are ready to start grinding through Medium. Filter by frequency and topic you are still weaker in. Real interviews are LC medium-hard. Easy will be a 3-5 mins warm up to ease you into it (Google did this for me). And don’t forget System Design! Definitely push the on-site later and do the test first.
