I want to fly up for an interview from New Mexico. Has anyone done this recently? When I Interviewed at Apple they rented me a car, booked my flight and hotel and gave me $125 per diem for food (for 3 days). It was great. Amazon once made me fill out an expense report for every purchase and denied to reimburse me for a beer (no big deal) but fame me exactly what I spent for everything else. Amazon Alexa team gave my friend a prepaid debit card with $750 on it (it was deactivated after he returned home) and flight/hotel/Uber credit. How does microsoft do things? Also what company has treated you the best on your interviews.
They also don't reimburse alcohol
If it’s just a per diem given, what would it matter? Apple just gave me $300, I asked if I needed to submit an expense report and was told no
For Microsoft I had to submit expense reports, they said they would reimburse up to $75 per day.
I interviewed with Facebook, Amazon, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Lyft, LinkedIn. When it came to interview logistics, Microsoft experience was the best. The hotel they gave me was superb. The meals I ate at the adjacent fancy restaurants were expensed to the hotel room and Microsoft took care of it.

I am starting to think Chinese interviewers currently fail non-Chinese candidates on purpose.
2 days stay, rent a car and flights .. all taken care off. Also 75$ per diem
2 nights? Ie, could I fly in, get some rest day 1. Interview day 2, fly home day 3?
Yep
