Damm that MS account executive will make 💵 🤑🤑🤑💰from this deal.
Such deals are once in a lifetime!
Selling cloud to Amazon. Wow.
More like selling SaaS to Amazon
SaaS runs on cloud!!! Unless MSFT has agreed to somehow allow Amazon to store all data on Amazon-owned hardware.
Wow! Amazon didn’t have msft word for the longest time! I though all big corporations have msft word for employees to use. Smaller corporations might bypass it due to cost
MS needs to be broken down. Way too powerful. Monopoly.
Lol Amazon beats Microsoft in cloud, retail etc. How is that a monopoly?
Maybe, maybe not. But MSFTs response is way off. I could just imagine the AT&T exec back in th 80s, "Don't break us up, we don't own a single railroad". Also, if I were starting a company I would definitely go Azure over AWS. Amazon is too dysfunctional and it shows in its offerings.
But bezos don't prefer office products!
I would love to be at Amazon leading that migration.
Fuxking finally. When I was at Amazon we used to use all kinds of Frankenstein toolchains - Quip, internally hosted SharePoint, wiki, etc. It was a nightmare. For a company that writes so many word docs, it took them far too long to upgrade.
W for MSFT, L for AMZN. At any other company I would be excited for this change. But I fully expect AMZN to f--k up the transition.
