How can Satya sleep at night?!
Metaverse is the real deal. Microsoft just doesnāt want to compete against meta going all in
In this recession, people are more cautious with spending. Thus metaverse luxury should be first to go. As for Facebook, I don't think it's a big threat. Msft can be a fast follow up and save all these R&D money
Consumers donāt like AR or VR. Itās like a novelty gadget people try a few times a collect dust
I don't think it's a fool's errand (I personally despise it). Maybe it's too early in it's technological cycle unless there is a breakthrough. Time will tell.
Nice call.
The technology is not there yet. If I can enter meta verse with my naked eyes, then itās time to all in. For now, no one wants to sit in front of a computer or wear special glasses to enter meta verse.
Good. Metaverse is like pigs flying pipe dream which is never gonna happen, Would rather see Microsoft work on killing google with ChatGPT.
Now they will wait for a good metaverse startup to make a breakthrough and buy them
Yeah they killed their tablets and , mobiles. Others benefited.
Should've never put any money into it. Maybe it's because I'm not a big gamer but the whole metaverse concept is full retart. I suspect zuck may have watched ready player one too many times.
Lol that movie is cool. May be he thinks himself as the one who created the game.
Good the metaverse is dumb.
This was very different than the Meta version of the metaverse (it was a bunch of software tools for industrial areas, like digital twins, control systems, IOT, etc). But I agree calling this the metaverse was really dumb and confusing
