Microsoft new grad apps opened, cons to applying later?

Havent done any leetcode yet because been focusing on return offer to pipazon as backup. I want to apply like late Sept hopefully that gives me a few months of leeting until any potential final rounds. Is that bad or will reduce my chances in any way? What month should I apply that compromises/optimizes between Not applying too late that it’s bad, and maximizing time to leetcode. Swe Roles TC: intern
