Microsoft non compete clause for FTE
Do Microsoft have non-compete or nda clause for FTE? Will this prevent employees to join MS competitors or partners? If yes...WA state allow companies with such practices? Looks like it is illegal in CA state. TC:200k Yoe:15yrs

Once you disclose that you a cepted offer from MS competitors... your manager just walk you outside sameday and all access de-activated .. not sure about what happens afterwards.. how non compete clause works here... is google and Amazon are only competitors... what about partners like citrix etc..

I didn't tell them where my new place was and I didn't get walked out fwiw
It's one year, iirc. Basically don't poach your teammates for a year

1 year from when you leave msft. I am not a lawyer, this was just my recollection.
