Location - Hillsboro, Oregon. Role: Design Verification Engineer II Base: 131k. RSU: 150k Quarterly vest for 4 years after 1 year. Sign on: 50k. Over 2 years. Bonus base: 0-20% base. Bonus stock: 0-32k RSU refreshers. Recruiter did not mention the level. I think it’s L61. Not sure. I do have an offer from a startup. And an on-site with Nvidia the next Wednesday. My startup offer: Bay Area. Same role. Base 145k. 10% bonus. Sign on 40k 5000 units stock. Company at 1B evaluation. The estimated stock price at this point is 61. The strike price is 23. So profit would be $38 per stock. IPO might be at $3-5B. Or an acquisition. We don’t know. Nvidia on-site interview on Wednesday next week. Can someone please comment on the offer? And give me some tips on how to negotiate? This is my first negotiation. I didn’t negotiate when I joined intel because of me being naïve then.
That’s about 200k. Pretty decent for 2 yoe.
Agreed that looks pretty good especially for Oregon. Hopefully NVIDIA moves fast and you can ask the other to match.

And for 2yoe range wont go much higher. Might come down to which culture you like better or other perks like 401k/medical/location. Is NIVIDA position for Hillsboro as well?

Very good offer ! Almost as good as L62, assuming this is L61. Doesn't hurt to negotiate if you can grab nvidia offer
