Just want to know what your thoughts are on an offer for L61 at Microsoft with 4 years of experience. Base: $123k RSU: $30k Signing bonus: $13k Currently, I dont have any other offers to negotiate. Can I ask for higher numbers? I'm thinking of asking 135k base, 70stocks for 4 years and 40k sign on for 2 years. Update: After negotiation. Base: $140k RSU: $80k signon: $20k reloc: $ 12k
30k...over 4 years? lmao
They know for Cerner folks, msft might be a dream. So lowballing like crazy. No offense Cerner, I have lot of friends from Cerner and it's a good company. It's just sad that they lowball so much.
really really low. You going to make less than a 59 new college hire. They are lowballing
That's the norm. Majority of industry hires from 60-62 make much less than new grad hire.
Get competing offers. Microsoft notoriously lowballs industry hires. New grad level 59 are getting 110k base, 75k up to 150k rsu and 25k-70k signing
Is this from a hiring event?
Yes
I think, it's low ball because of low cost center Cerner. Other Msft folks can comment more.
Extreme Low ball offer for 4 years experience. Do you have any other offers.
I'm offered similar with 6 yoe.. I have two competing offers.. will they match?
I think @op(IVmR55) has done a great job getting the offer. Let's not make him/her feel bad about it. Just try to convince msft that you are the best fit, how your interests and skills align and hope they can improve a bit. Competing offers help a lot.
YOE?
4. It’s in the post.
All 4 at Cerner?
