I recently appeared for Microsoft on-site interview. Was genuinely able to complete all coding questions and system design round. Received rejection on other day. I am not sure what exactly Microsoft interviewers look for?
Don't know about Microsoft but blind people are looking for your TC.
Don't waste your time interviewing here. Our interview process is a mess, each team does their own thing and it all comes down to luck. Besides, our tc is peanuts. If you're trying to get into fang, I suggest Amazon as a starting point
You can try multiple teams meaning multiple interviews and everyone does their own thing. So don't fret about this and it doesn't mean anything.
One thing is a fact - MS has no generic interviewing/hiring strategy. It comes down to whom you’re dealing with. If team is solid and is understaffed they will hire based on results. But then there are other teams/orgs that think of themselves as super-hot and cutting edge - those will be looking for superheroes that do not exist. Overall do not bother and move on
