It's 💩 As expected. Over hyped and underwhelming. Just for reference, senior band refresher was changed from 30k over 5 years to 40k over 4 years. Sure now we are competitive.
Where did you see the shift to 4 year vesting? I'm looking at the modeler and not seeing anything different.
They increased the range.. that means, managers have more 🥜 to throw.. doesn’t necessarily mean, all 🙊 🙉 🙈 get it..
This announcement enables managers discretionary capabilities to take care of employees they want to keep. Merit budgets are much bigger and stock grants increase 25% for everyone 67 and below. That’s meaningful progress.
This is no different than the current model. Managers recommend a percentage of rewards 0% to 200% most people get 100%. Managers don’t determine salary, bonus or stock. They use the percentage slider and then numbers magically come back to them in August. So don’t spread rumors about managers picking and choosing. yes if you suck at your job your manager can give you less rewards but they also have to write a reason why they gave you below 100%
I’m not spreading rumors. Managers now have more discretion in compensation.
