I am starting to think Chinese interviewers currently fail non-Chinese candidates on purpose.

Hello, I recently got an offer from Microsoft, which I signed but want to reject it due to low pay. Is it possible to interview for other teams immediately I reject the offer? Or can I still negotiate on the pay? Thanks
I’d say take it. It’s better than your current TC anyway. You can bounce after a year or two
You’re an l4 at Amazon with 5 yoe?
Not everyone gets in straight out of college. I had 2 years of experience before joining at L4. I worked my way up instead of getting a degree. No debt and got in quicker than I would have had I gone for a 4 year degree.
@amamjon are you an SDE? I'm an SDE with a degree but my older brother has similar coding skills with no degree. I'm curious if it's possible to get an SDE job at Amazon without a degree and if so, what path he could pursue to do it
MS levels are tiny compared to Amazon. Just join and get promoted into the next band.
$200k is not a bad offer on current market condition, just accept and keep on hunting your dream offer.
1. Why did you sign it when you weren’t happy? 2. No. You can’t reject it and interview for other Microsoft teams. 3. You can talk to recruiter about your pay, but you don’t have a lot of leverage since you officially accepted the offer by signing. You’re making more at Microsoft than your current pay, why not take it?
Also 4. If this team at Microsoft isn’t paying you enough, the other teams will be paying the same for the same level anyway
They are giving you $0 equity?
No. L61 base wont be that high. So imagine base is near 160k and equity is 30k/year, 10% base salary target bonus
Yes take it and do unlimited interview internally!
Can you be unlabelled?
Up levelled internally
33.3% higher than your current TC and you consider it low pay?
You might get blacklist for 2 years (common in most companies). you shouldn’t have accepted in first place if you didn’t like the number. Isn’t it 33% higher ?
lol don’t spread bushit flagged
It is not bullshit, if you accept offer and don’t join, most of companies bans for 2 years and it is common practice
Why did you sign if you’re not happy, you might be blacklisted for doing so.
