Msft(L62): Base - 131k RSU - 145k over 4 years Sign on - 45k over 2 years Annual bonus eligibility - 20% of base TC 205k, Atlanta BlackRock(Associate VP): Base - 150k Annual bonus - 40-60k RSU - 55k over 2 years TC 225k, Atlanta(remote ish) Can you also comment why one over the other? Associate VP???
20% bonus is bs, avg is 3-5%. Also, those are Low for l62. Ask for 200k rsu, 100k signon. They will lowball down to the standards
For Blackrock There is no level called ĆVP. There is Associate and then VP. Probably they're are hiring you at above average comp for Associate so giving this BS.. I voted for Microsoft as you will not learn much at Blackrock in terms of designing scaleable systems. Your hands will be tied with legacy processes and tech. ( I left BLK)
Grow in black rock and take control of all tech companies
Pm for uber L5A in Atlanta. Should eclipse both TC's.
OP are you really getting RSUs at Blackrock?? I need to talk to my manager about this.
Yeah they mentioned that they are giving me VP Stocks to match my pay expectations. Also, would you mind if I dm you to chat more about BlackRock and growth there. ?
Sure feel free to DM me
Blackrock is worst place to be in. Technology is older than real Alladin (if you understand the joke). Team works 12 hours or even more and there are some nerds who wants to work longer to show they are better than other and grab free food post 6PM. Crappy management. Ignore at all cost.
šš okie yeah I did accept msft ..
VP is definitely an upgrade regardless of the TC see if that can boost your career chances in the future On the safer side if I still want to code and be open to multiple opportunities in the future I would choose L62 at MSFT.
