Mid-sized companies in the GTA with good culture?

So, my sister has only ever worked at startups and small companies, and these environments haven't worked well for her. She's taking some time off now and hitting the leetcode, but the both of us aren't sure where to look for companies that have good, team-oriented, and positive cultures. We've found that Glassdoor can be misleading; her last company had great Glassdoor reviews but ended up being extremely toxic, with good people leaving left, right, and centre. If you guys have personal experience with companies that have great culture, please let us know. We're optimizing for a respectful environment moreso than wlb, if that helps. It would also be a positive if the engineering team has at least one woman on it, since my sister was the only woman on all her previous teams and was inadvertently left out of a lot of events (happy hours and "boys' nights"), and thus didn't get the team bonding she wanted.
