We should establish a minimum tax payment of one million dollars for visa holders before allowing them to convert to green card status. This measure would contribute to the growth of the USA and facilitate the creation of new jobs, with the possibility of subsidies. Each year, we grant citizenship to millions. Imagine the impact if each of these individuals paid one million dollars in taxes. Such revenue could significantly transform the USA and reduce the fiscal deficit. Moreover, this policy could help eliminate visa fraud. It’s important to note that we already offer a relatively relaxed green card quota for academic researchers, whose pathway to citizenship would not be affected by this proposal.
Make it $100M
Many Rajeshs will downvote this
Bro the wait Rajesh is over 100years for green card lol they don’t care here to make money
Who's Rajesh 😄😄
You should run for president. 🤡🤡🤡🤡
From where you all get these dumb ideas? Every anti-immigrant comes with some weird suggestions. “Remove birth right citizenship” “Million $ w2” “Minimum salary >200K for H1b” “H1b should be married and have kids before moving to US”
Haven’t heard the last one before.
We don’t want spouse and kids of h1b here
An averaged green card holder pays more than that in lifetime taxes
Ignorance is bliss, in the 13 years I have been working, I have on an average page about 70k taxes per year. For some of the techies this number goes above a Mill even before we apply for GC.
This is not Rajesh this is Vivek Ramaswamy
Nobody should have citizenship. Even those born in US. Only visa. That way everyone works their ass off or gets the fuck out. No moochers, period.
OP sounds like a Rajesh who got their US passport
This is close the door behind attitude
Just tax 70% to anyone earning 10M per year. You will never make that much money so why would you be against this?
