Switched from Verizon, my bill went from $40 + tax to $20 + tax. I did lose unlimited (now get 10 gb, which is plenty for me), but even the mint unlimited plan is way cheaper. Service is arguably better, and customer service is SO MUCH better than Verizon (motherfuckers were so annoying to deal with over the phone, putting me on 30 min holds just to explain why I’m getting fucked on my bills). Holiday special is getting 3 months free ($90 for 6 months of unlimited, or $60 for 6 months of 10 gb). Referral link below gives you an extra $15 in credit too. Their referral program is insane because you get a ton of credit for signing up people, hence this post. Apologies if I am breaking Blind’s TOS (didn’t check, but at least I posted in misc)! http://fbuy.me/tT3F2
What happens after 3 months Do they raise the rates On the site there is no mention of what happens They only say I could get another 3month plan
After 6 months, you’d have to renew at the normal price (right now I pay $20/mo + tax for 10 gb). The credit you get for referrals (including $15 for signing up with a referral link) is used against that
Or you could just sign up for Verizon or whatever again
If DeadPool advertised it on blind I would switch
Reception is fucking garbage compared to my company Verizon line. YMMV
They use Tmobile’s network - happens to be better where I am in the Bay
Sach?
I have been using their 4gb plan for 1.5 years. 15$/month plus tax. Tmo network. Works great most of the time. 4gb is far more than I can use since Covid wfh. Roaming to Mexico as well. Not good rate but functional.
Meh, Google Fi family plan is better. Mint's data rate was slow 🦥
To each his own! You like Google Fi so far? How much does it cost? How’s the service?
20$ per month unlimited data, but 5GB hotspot data. Service is great, no complaints.
Friend had it and never had coverage even in populated areas. He was always looking for wifi to jump on so he could use his phone. I'll stick with a teir 1.
Similar services if you want international calling for free like Ultra Mobile & Red Pocket.
Most people here have their phone bills paid by their employer through some benefit of the other.
100% agree recommending Mint Mobile. It runs on T-Mobile network which is now better than AT&T and usually better than Verizon except for some locations. Look at the T-Mobile coverage map and it that works for you then switch to Mint Mobile. It is a no brainer.
Ryan is that you?
Shhhh
