I just read that Miro has been valued at $17.5 billion and they raised $400m at that valuation. How’s the company doing in general? Reference; https://techcrunch.com/2022/01/05/visual-collaboration-company-miro-valued-at-17-5b-following-400m-in-new-funding/ What do blind users think about this valuation?

IRS Warns Thousands of Taxpayers They Could Face Jail Time
It’s by far my favorite collab tool
Same here, but never thought it could be valued at 17.5.
Valuations are BS. Valuations shouldn't be based on what the last guy paid for it.
When do you think they will go public?
I don’t, but this series C fund. I’m not expert in startups, I assume would be another round of investment
Billion is the new million
They are only series c , I never saw valuations so high for series c, and they are profitable already, how different
Miro has a gr8 potential to be $100B company - mark my words… Imagine this tool will be expanded to be used in all education institutions and calculate the added customer base. Also Very recently they have released “ Miro smart meetings “ which is super 😎 . I hope one day they will introduce AR/VR for virtual meetings. Also surprised to see the Series C is backed by snowflake, salesforce , atlassian , airtable 😇 … hmmm…
Miro has a great suite of tools no doubt but what makes you think that the others can’t build the same ?
Anyone can build/copy/enhance any other product. It takes many factors to beat the original product like marketing, customer base, license fee, quality etc.. Though Miro became popular now, it started building more than a Decade ago and its been embracing…
The overlooked gem stashed away is that Miro profitable, which is 🤯 https://techcrunch.com/2022/01/05/visual-collaboration-company-miro-valued-at-17-5b-following-400m-in-new-funding/amp/ “Prior to the raise, Miro was already profitable and growing three times year over year before the global pandemic.” Like…show me a list of companies that are doing THAT. So far the ones I see are Miro and Zapier - where are the others? I love Figma but it’s very hyped and I doubt they’re profitable..
Not true - majority was based in Russia
Not bad for a russian company
As many companies out there Miro valuation dropped significantly after the Ukraine war and upcoming energy crisis. If 17b wasn’t overvaluated, it’s around 10b max now.
