How much Mission and Vision of a company (you work for or you are joining) matters to you comparing to the money that company pays to you?
Like with most things in life, it comes down to personal preference. For me the mission matters because I keep wondering about the purpose of human existence. So working for a company that has a purposeful mission helps me sleep a tiny bit better
That’s true if you really believe what is stated as the mission and vision of the company is true and respected by high level management.
