Hello, I work as an iOS and Android app developer. IC, lead and architect roles mostly. Work location based out of Bangalore, India. Current TC: 31.5 LPA All Fixed YOE: 14+ Have two offers, creating a poll to get an opinion from people here. 1. Tesco 43 + 15% ~ 51 LPA in all. Position: SDE3 2. JPMC 45 + Discretionary bonus/incentive ( ~ 12% avg.) ~ 51 LPA in all. Position: VP I think I got lowballed, as both asked for current and added % to that. Have about 20 days left in the notice. Hello @razorpay, I just checked the career page and see an opening for a Lead mobile engineer, but they have a strict ask for React Native, and I don't work with that. Do you think can still be a viable option? Just being cautious as low on DM reserves. Thanks.

Hi op, what did you say when negotiating when they offered. Did you tell it is lowball and market rate is x ? How many times they revised after 1st offer ? Did you use other offer to negotiate. Did you send other offer copy as proof to them
Hello ykoq41, no market rates discussed or more than 1 round of discussion over package. Their focus was on current TC from the get go and based on that they made the offer ( had heard otherwise for both firms, in terms of parity maintained and current is not a concrete criteria, but alas not correct). Countered one with another, and yes had to send the offer over to them.
