Scared of opening Blind nowadays. In the past three hours I saw posts about layoffs in twilio, SAP, MongoDB and Meta.
Isnβt all these 4 companies old layoff news?

Just heard LinkedIn is doing layoffs in Talent Acquisition (recruiting) today too.
Yeah itβs been kinda bad today unfortunately. HR is getting slaughtered and it looks like the flattening has begun

Don't fear it - look at it as these companies waking up and purging deadweight. Sure some good people got caught in the mess, but they will land somewhere. Those who thought that working a couple hours a day and turning in garbage will finally wake up hopefully. These companies are making room for capable people who realize bubbles pop and the future is bright... for those who are ready.
