1. How do nano and micro influencers on Instagram and other socials find brand deals to monetize? Is it easy to find monetization opportunities? 2. Are small and medium size brands looking towards using influencer marketing to promote brand and products? 3. Among Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, which is the best for influencer marketing? 1 you can cold email brands to gauge interests. there are also platforms such as grin.co that brands come in to give a brief and influencers pitch/propose content plan to get a deal. 2 these days small/mid size brands rely less on influencers and more on content creators. 3 whereever there are less competition for you. also some brands or platforms require you to do all channels anyway.

Thanks for the insight. What is the difference between and influencer vs content creator in the context of answer 2. Also, would you say going forward influencer marketing is going to eat into the ad business (Google, FB ads)?

influencer is someone who already has followers, hence has influence. so you just talk about the product or just show that you use it, without having to make any creative production (eg kardashians) vs a content creator creates content that requires planning and production (eg teach/talk about a topic, make funny videos) with tighter regulations, i think the 2 will stay separated.

Look at Shopify collabs. You can promote brands that have signed up for the program. No 1:1 deal with them needed.
