Wait, how are you even spending $4200/mo with 120k base? Are you in debt?
Wut? That’s like 7500 take home
If you don’t max out your 401k and max out your EPP sure…
WTF kind of haircut is that?
A haircut is like $30 plus tips. Twice a month sometimes (it’s an overestimate)
You don’t need a haircut that often
Dude figure out how to earn more, your spending is not a problem right now
In this market? I’m more worried about keeping my job. Could be laid off any moment
That’s too much for entertainment in my opinion. You already get some included with Prime. Keep one of Netflix or HBO in addition and kick the rest. Cost for YouTubeTv is just ridiculous. Can you also find a cheaper place? One with free/cheaper parking if possible.
Yeap, cutting YouTube tv and Netflix
Does Microsoft reimburse Internet service fees?
No
whoa youtube is expensive
Add another expense into Car section... annual registration is hell expensive due to some act they introduced couple yrs back... basically $300 for a $30k car value. And parking rates have been raised across seattle last month, bear that as well. But one place where you can reduce your expenses is rent... if you live alone, $2.5k is too much. Definitely can find something under $2k. (Assuming living single, but if you live with family that's different scenario)
Stop eating out so much and cook for yourself. Your date will be impressed too. Find a cheaper haircut place. Cancel some of the digital subscriptions. Move out of the city or get a roommate. You can’t be saving much money with this amount of monthly expenditure
Always get a car when living in the United States.
In seattle having a car can be a curse unless you have garage parking. Public transportation here is pretty reliable and for occasional time you get plenty of car Sharing options. I have a car and it's a pain to own one in seattle
Public transportation is full of homeless people who make scenes on the bus often. Not very pleasant to enjoy.
