Congrats on all your new employees! http://tcrn.ch/2exbef1
Doesn't exactly work like that but you clicked it and squirted your pants which is why they write about it.
And Pinterest - how much would you say an uber driver should cost the company? We can use your number to back into how much an uber will cost, then into how many will be on the road at that price. Economics.
Of course the price would go up if Uber wasn't cheating drivers like they are now. It would cost around what a cab ride would cost.
Think it could still be significant less but yes I am more than fine paying more. Blows my mind I can get an hour of driving for 30 bucks so I always tip anyway.
I remember telling a cab driver that I work for Uber - he said what times do you drive :)
I don't know why drivers would want to be employees. Uber will now take massive taxes out of their pay and their ability to write off expenses diminishes. Definitely not worth it for them to be employees and the supposed benefits of that. Talk about wanting something you don't fully understand.
+1
How about this bill lumberg life: "hey I need you to work the puke shift, midnight to 2am Tuesday, for union wage of $12 an hour, even though riders are paying $40 an hour. It makes sense because we have to subsidize your union brothers who sit in their cars on tuesdays at lunch spinning their wheels, partially literally.
What if I tell you that if all drivers become employees , Uber valuation will rise - what will be the viewpoint of my dear colleagues.
This is awesome. Hopefully all ridesharing drivers will get employee status. It's such an exploitative and unethical practice to call them contractors... and flagrantly illegal if you read the law. It's a massive transfer of the healthcare and benefits burden from the companies to taxpayers. Once they're employees all the drivers should form a union and bargain for better wages.
Says the person who didn't get an offer from Uber?
Ad hominem, classic uber
