Considering a move from JP where my job is extremely specialized, my skills in marketing aren’t being put to good use. Frankly unhappy with management, in office policy etc. 1 direct possibly moving to 2 before EOY. (VP level) Last stages with synchrony, in social media (VP level). Forming a team of 3 directs with people already there that will move under me. Any info on what it’s like to work there? Also I cannot find the # of vacation days anywhere. Thank you!! #marketing #socialmedia #worklifebalance JP TOC 150k + 25k bonus Synchrony: recruiter said up to $160k (unspecified bonus) YOE: 11
Recommend SYF. One of the best places to work. can’t say enough about people and company culture. Work from home option as well as flexible working hours For VP level, bonus is typically 15% and as far as I can remember, always paid out at 100% or more.
SYF an easy place to coast, do minimum, and collect paycheck. No LTIP (long term incentive plan) stock comp until SVP level (16+) unless they’ve changed recently
Thank you all! Just got an invite to meet with HR. Does that mean it’s the last step? 🤞🏼
Update: had meeting w HR sounds like they might be putting an offer together. They want to pay less than originally quoted because I was transparent about my move to Miami in august. Waiting for an offer now, sounds like it might end up being 130-140k… thoughts?
Sounds good to me
Oh and 15% bonus and level 12
L11 is typically 130k. I suggest you negotiate between 140-150k for L12. HR mtg is the last step before offer
Thx I asked for 150-160K, they said want to keep people coming in at 75th percentile so 149K and then adjust for Miami cost of living. Will try to push for 140-150K!
L12: entry 85k, 25%: 106k, 75%: 149k, Max: 170k. 15% annual incentive plan
Thank you. Still waiting for an offer, they said latest Monday.
Anyone ever go to the Orlando office? They mentioned they’re doing in person events once a month and it would be important to go to a “hub”
I recommend Syf. Im lvl 10 so AVP. VP is a nice place to be, great compensation and bonus those numbers sound about right with 10% 401k match or so and full remote
Thanks that’s super helpful! How many PTO days do you get?
Well my personal strat is to only take halfdays so i have alot but like 4 weeks
