Move to Affirm from Google
Have an offer from Affirm and I’m not sure about moving to a less well established company. Tc about the same: ~250k

Why??? I think we all can agree Google isn’t perfect, but it’s still better than the average company. So unless your new gig is above average, which I don’t think this is, do not move!

I would really second guess it. I moved to a much lesser known company from Microsoft because I was inspired by the mission. Needless to say I'm trying to get back to Microsoft now. There's so many intangibles that you get from a larger company including great peer talent, pay, benefits, and potential for career pivots within the same company.

We’re probably more fast-moving than Google and you can probably have a bigger impact on the company here / climb the ranks faster because we’re growing
