Moving from AWS to VMware
Hello, I'm about to give two week notice to join VMware. I'm wondering if VMware is considered as competitor for AWS and I would let go on the same day ? Did any one moved from AWS to VMware ? Current TC: 160
VMW is where I want to go when I'm ready to retire. Really good work life balance; stock should stick around for another decade
And here I am trying to move to Salesforce later because of better work life balance , better pay π

I don't get that stupid thing with AWS. Walking out ppl who are going to competitors. I mean... If I were to steal stuff from AWS... I would do it BEFORE I give notice....

Trade carefully. Research on team you are going to join. If product is sustainable or not. Vm is well known for quick lay offs and dumping people
